Royl Exterior Oil #4570 (formerly Outdoor Oil),
Deep-impregnation one-component protective oil based on vegetable oil for outdoor wood. Suitable for all types of wood on both horizontal and vertical surfaces, such as decking, fences and garden furniture. Based on vegetable oil and with extra UV protection. Impregnates, nourishes and protects from within. Does not crack or peel. Can be colored with 24 separate color pigments. Formerly ROYL Outdoor.
PROTECTIVE OIL FOR OUTDOORS
The master oil makers of RIGO Verffabriek developed the ROYL Oil Exterior #4570 especially for outdoor wood, based on vegetable oil. The oil penetrates deep into the pores of the wood and therefore protects the wood from the inside for a long time against water, dirt and weather influences.
UV-resistant outdoor oil with anti-fungal ingredients.

Cloths, etc. with drying oil can ignite due to heating: allow to dry unfolded or store under water.
• The wood must be evenly sanded and, of course, clean, dry and free of wax, grease and wood dust.
• Always clean previously oiled and/or soiled surfaces thoroughly with ROYL Intensive Cleaner #9120. Then mop or rinse with clean water and let the surface dry completely.
• Always make a test area first on unfamiliar surfaces.
• Register the batch numbers of the products used (6-digit number on the packaging).
Instructions,
• Shake the packaging well beforehand.
• If necessary, add Color Pigment for Oil and mix until a homogeneous colour.
Apply according to the 3 steps below:
1. Spread ROYL Exterior Oil #4570 generously over the surface. This is best done with the special paint rollers and brushes below. Application on a large horizontal unprofiled surface is also easy with a polishing machine with a slightly abrasive pad (colors red, beige or blue).
2. Approx. Leave for 20 minutes. Drying places in the meantime with oiling. Then rub in with a slightly abrasive pad (colors red or beige), Rub at a slow pace.
3. Finally, wipe dry. Use the absorbent cotton cloths below for this. Replace saturated cloths in time with clean ones. Remember to dry the surface well in bevels, etc. as well. Insufficient rubbing can lead to shiny spots and dirt adhesion.
Repeat the process if necessary if the surface still shows matte, rough spots. Always dry the entire surface thoroughly.
Other information,
• ROYL Oil Exterior #4570 is optionally tintable with 24 loose color pigments for oil, for making colors from the ROYL Color Fans, whose color code starts with Cxx, for example C10. The color will be different on a type of wood other than oak. If necessary, make a test area first to check the color.
• Add to a full color pigment bag in one liter of ROYL Oil Exterior #4570. Shake well before using the stained product.
• A tinted ROYL Oil Exterior #4570 provides even better protection against aging due to sunlight.
Apply a new layer every year (does not need to be sanded again) Only in case of heavy pollution, etc
For optimal results and protection: apply twice a year.
